Since 2014, Roobski has formed a distinctive sound in the musical landscape that blends influences from house, techno, and UK Garage to create an infectious, upbeat sound that fuses tech-bass with foot-shuffling rhythms and groovy melodies. Based in the Raleigh, NC area, he began his musical journey experimenting with his sound at house parties using hand-me-down equipment and gaining inspiration from experiences at music festivals, shows, and listening to other talented artists in the scene. Over the years, he has collaborated with various artists and collectives, sharing his vision and passion for innovative music. His most recent endeavors include opening for Eli & Fur and keeping the music & wellness stream Groove Therapy ongoing as a resident host with success in curating a welcoming space for other artists and guests to share their talents as well.
