Seven Teller is the art-rock brainchild of Baltimore musician and songwriter Sam Cochran, who started the project in 2020. A blend of post-punk, dance, and psych-rock music nourishes the band’s unique, immersive sound. After several big releases and national tours, Sam re-imagined the band’s sound with the explosive 2026 release of their full length album What Are The Chances?. Seven Teller is expanding the norms by creating music that’s reminiscent of acts like LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and CAN, while still performing live shows that showcase deep improvisation, referencing their roots in the jam scene and early influences like Phish and Lotus. Seven Teller has featured sit-ins from Cotter Ellis (Goose), Jake Brownstein (Eggy), and Eli Winderman (Dopapod).
