Passion fueled, aggressive, and true. These are the words to describe New York-based band, Ghost Chant. Consisting of Dan Sheehan (vocals), Gus Morales (guitar), Mike Held (guitar), Matt Bliss (drums), and Brandon Lane (bass), Ghost Chant brings to the music world an adaptation of the lives they view around them. With earnest lyrics, punching melodies, and an all out assault sonically, Ghost Chant hopes to stand apart from those around them while paying homage to those that came before. After having several releases under their belt, the band caught the ear of Revival Recordings and in the fall of 2023, they signed on to join the Revival Recordings family of artists. Montana band Fly Over States have expertly crafted an infectious blend of post-hardcore, screamo, and metalcore on their new EP, Ghosts, out today on Fever Ltd. The four tracks are filled with fiesty vocals, tight-knit rhythms, and a wallowing sense of urgency. The bulk of the lyrics address the perils of technology and struggles with mental health.
