School of Rock Wake Forest Presents: WOMEN OF ROCK/LED ZEPPELIN
Get ready for a “Whole Lotta” music as the Wake Forest School of Rock pays homage to the greatest rock music of all time.
The Women Of Rock set will feature music from some of the most well-known and influential female rock artists of all time; highlighting their brilliance and contribution to the development of the genre. Get ready to hear some of your favorite songs from bands like Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, No Doubt and more recent artists like Paramore.
The Led Zeppelin set will pay tribute to arguably the quintessential “ROCK and ROLL” band; Led Zeppelin. Throughout the late sixties and the seventies; Led Zeppelin churned out a string of classic albums that redefined the Rock genre and effects are still heard today in bands like the Foo Fighters and Greta Van Fleet. We will be covering music spanning their career from hard driving blues numbers like “Rock and Roll” and “Trampled Under Foot” to mystical ethereal ballads like “All of My Love” and of course “Stairway to Heaven” (Bring your lighters)
