Modernkind (DC, Brooklyn, Raleigh)
Indie Rock / Indie Pop / Synth Rock
Hailing from across the southeast, Modernkind is a swing for the fences, long time coming, all-or-nothing project founded in 2019. Bridging the challenges of living across three cities (DC, Raleigh, Brooklyn), long time friends Tyler, John, Michael, and Austin have succeeded in developing a sound that spans that distance. Modernkind creates an appealing blend of uplifting indie rock and lush, romantic electro-pop. Taking influence from acts like The Brook and the Bluff, The Band Camino, and The War on Drugs

GLOM (Brooklyn, NY)
Indie Lofi / Slowcore / Shoegaze Rock

Glom is a three-piece band that was formed in Brooklyn in 2018 but has existed in slightly different iterations for nearly a decade. Founders Sean Dunnevant and Peter Beiser have known each other since childhood in the DC area. Since those early days, Glom has taken shape in the form of a rock band with a myriad of influences ranging from 90s shoegaze and experimental rock to IDM and modern electronic music. Glom writes songs that are expertly produced, warm to the touch, and explore what it means to get up each day in pursuit of making something great.
