Taking inspiration from funk throughout the eras, they present a sound that is both familiar and unique, with influences in 70’s funk and modern hip hop/soul. They just recently returned from touring all over the East Coast, going as far North as Vermont and as far South as the tip of Florida. They are now in the process of writing and recording their debut album, due out in mid 2019.
JULIA. is made up of Torin “Dr. Funkenstein” Alston, Danlee “Moon Dog” Gildersleeve, Todd “The Creature” Davis, and Sean “Count Slapula” Meehan.
