Brooklyn based Hundreds Thousands (Zach Britt) has had three official releases and has 6 new singles coming out between now & the end of the summer. His music is very much in the style of a Sylvan Esso or Phantogrm – with sample-based production, bass synths, and hooky vocals over the top of it all. His music is deeply rooted in the folk/singer-songwriter structure, but is heavily influenced by & lives in the electronic world – a combination of his upbringing in North Carolina & formative time in Brooklyn. He’s been gigging around the east coast for awhile now, opened for Mija’s Band Practice tour in Brooklyn & DC, & just made his Denver debut for 3 shows in early May.
