“awaken, my siblings – the time is nigh for the annual ritual of summoning! yes, that’s right, the three lobed / smashed plastic / wxdu day show during the hopscotch music festival is back. the normal details apply: we will be at kings in raleigh on the friday of hopscotch (september 11) and blowing minds from noon until 5. admission is free and if you can’t be there in person wxdu will be doing their annual public service and simulcasting. this year we are pleased to be joined in our ceremonies by none other than speed stick (yes!), oiil (yes!), the mighty RIBS (yes!), maps (yes!) and two hearts (emily robb and richie charles – yes!). it will rule. glorious artwork by our eternal day show collaborator matt tauch. mark your calendar and see you in the pit.”
