Tanajah

Tanajah, a Hip Hop performing artist based out of Raleigh, is a budding rapper in the North Carolina Hip-Hop music scene. Recently being nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist for the Carolina Music Awards, Tanajah’s vision is to bring a different style of Hip Hop to the North Carolina Music scene. Finding her musical inspiration from the likes of Tupac, Hiatus Kiayote, Noname, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Rapsody and more, Tanajah, was given the title of the “Giver of Good Vibes” by some of her fans, and rightfully so. Tanajah puts on a show that will make you want to think about life, dance, and vibe, all in the same night. Tanajah hopes that her music can spread the message “Give love, spread good vibes, and be happy!” throughout the entire world!

Tha Materials

Tha Materials (or Tha Mats for short) is a Soul Hip-hop Group based in Durham, NC. Established in 2012 by founding members Drummer JC Justice III, MC/TrumpetCameron Tripp, & Trumpet Will Smith, Tha Mats came about from a mutual desire to create dope original music. Later additions to tha band were tha “Songbird” voice of singer/songwriter Raney Hayes, Travis Jones on Bass/keyboard, MC/songwriter Juteria Eaves, and most recently MC/ keyboardist Reuben ‘Young LOZ’ Ahukanna. They all attended North Carolina Central University and played together in tha marching band and various other ensembles on campus. They are still a dedicated collective of multi-talented individuals. This unique combination of instrumental talent, dope lyricism, and creativity fostered tha phrase “Ev’rything you need”, so it can be said that Tha Materials style is positive, thought provoking, soulful music with “Ev’rything you need” to “Make ya Feel Amazinn”
