100% of the proceeds from this showcase will go to Walltown Children’s Theatre. WCT builds confidence in youth by offering opportunities for leadership and supporting students as they take on additional responsibilities within the school. Their goal is to prepare students for any career or undertaking by helping them build a strong and well-grounded set of life skills through the arts.

The Saving Space Showcase is a twice-monthly series that features 3 NC bands with at least one member who identifies as as female, non-binary, POC, and/or queer. The showcase alternates between Durham, Chapel Hill/Carrboro, and Raleigh/Cary. It is also only be booked at venues with gender neutral bathrooms. 100% of profits from each showcase goes to a triangle-based nonprofit.

This showcase aims to be about inclusion and heightened visibility for non-straight cis white men and giving all of us the opportunity to recognize, listen, and make room in the scene.
