Mir’s Empire x J.O.C.P Presents the second installment of the quarterly all ladies music showcase, “Queens at Kings,” taking place at Kings Barcade on Sunday, August 7th.
Often times at local showcases and concerts, there is a lack of female artists, thus, “Queens at Kings” was created to shine light on and highlight many of the amazing female singers and emcees throughout NC — ranging from new artists to established.
The concert will be hosted by radio personality and curator (K97.5, WKNC), Mir.I.am, with performances from returning artists Mosca Flux, SoFree Wisdom, and J. Safina, with newly added artists Ivy Monae, Dash Clark, Lala Specific, Makin’ Ends Meet, Venomiss, Amanda Pollard, and DJ Fannie Mae, who will also be providing sounds for the evening.
Advances tickets are $12 and $15 at the door.
