Dirty Logic (Steely Dan Tribute Band)

Time: 9:00AM

Admission: $12 advance/ $15 day of show | All Ages

Doors: 8:00AM

“Comprised of an all-star line-up of Asheville North Carolina’s most hard working musicians.  Dirty Logic started from a conversation after a gig one night, and from there it took on a life of its own.  The band works hard to pay respect to Steely Dan by playing the music the way that it should be played, by musicians who can really play their instruments and who love Steely Dan to the core.  You can expect to hear some of the more iconic horn/guitar solo’s that make these songs what they are, but the band also incorporates live improvisation so that live moments are truly live and each show is unique.  With three vocalists, four horns and a full rhythm section, they deliver the experience any true Dan fan craves – THE live Steely Dan concert that you’d expect to see on a big stage…

“The long term vision of the project is to not only play the Steely Dan song book, but also to incorporate some of the material from many of the primary and side projects of the core members.  And also the session and touring musicians who shared recordings and stages with the band.  The Steely Dan family is truly epic, and this is what we wish to share with the world by paying tribute to these fantastic musicians and song writers.

“Dirty Logic’s core band members are also involved in other national and regional projects such as The Travers Brothership, Empire Strikes Brass, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, The Business, Ashley Heath and Her Heathens, Grammy Award winner Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, former member of the Jon Stickley Trio, Jesse Barry and the Jam, Chicago Afrobeat, The Billy Sea, Juan Benevides Group, Mucca Pazza, The Digs, James Brown Dance Party, A Family Affair and Fathead.

Come and see them for yourself, they do not disappoint…” “Comprised of an all-star line-up of Asheville North Carolina’s most hard working musicians.
