With the continued success of artists such as J.Cole, Rapsody and her recent Grammy nomination for Laila’s Wisdom, Phonte’, Da Baby. Names such as King Mez and Drugs Beats working with Dr. Dre, and many other up and coming artists , the entire state has become a hotbed for emerging NC emcees. Now, here comes a new challenger. ScienZe

With over 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, ScienZe’s leading single “Charlie Brown” has collected over 2 million streams. Soon after his release of “Ella”, ScienZe was invited to a 5-country European Tour with his comrades, King I Divine, Fresh Daily and Chuk Le Garçon. The Marauders Tour, which is named after the group composed of ScienZe, Fresh Daily, and Chuk Le Garçon, lasted 28 days, and ended in Germany. He’s since released 3 projects that has contributed to the growth of his grass-roots following, and embarked on a national tour spanning 14 cities on the east coast.

Danny Blaze

Danny Blaze in North Carolina Hip-Hop artist that was born and raised in Durham. He has recently been featured on Raleigh’s K97.5 radio station, The News & Observer, and national publications such as Complex. He has performed at Art of Cool, Hopscotch, and A3C festivals and has shared the stage with the likes of Cousin Stizz, Rapper Big Pooh, Big K.R.I.T. and more.
