A leader in the DC jazz scene, saxophonist, clarinetist and organist Brad Linde leads his quartet Team Players. The music on their second disc ‘All American’ includes original compositions in addition to the music of Thelonious Monk and Albert Ayler. Brad says his collection celebrates “things as American as apple pie: jazz, baseball, freedom, trains, etc.”
Brad Linde has worked with Lee Konitz, Teddy Charles, Barry Harris, Grachan Moncur III, Andrew Cyrille, Joe Chambers, and Dan Tepfer, Matt Wilson, Ethan Iverson, and many others. He is the founder and director of the acclaimed Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra, and an artist in residence at the Atlas Performing arts Center.
